Brynn Crockett is a poet, artist, pianist, singer/songwriter, sound designer, and professional audio engineer. She resides in NM and CO. She carries a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Audio Engineering.
Brynn delivers faded, dreamy, lo-fi, witch house under the name zaleigh (which is her middle name), as well as contemporary piano pieces similar to those of Yann Tiersen and Ludovico Einaudi. Brynn does not come from one place. Instead, she has had the opportunity to call many different places home, due to being brought up as a military brat. Her music, poetry, and art express all she has encountered and adapted to when life would change so suddenly and constantly. She has learned the beauty of change this way, and places that bittersweetness of it in her work. She has also seen the importance of living in the moment, though knowing things can never last forever. In her work, she is able to focus on repetition without apathy.
Growing up, she was often one of the best writers and artists from elementary through high school and has received international DODEA awards for her prose and art submissions through her high school. She writes poems almost every day and has a specialty in ink pen art.
Outside of personal/original work, Brynn is open to mixing and mastering, and producing with clients or collaborators. She is proficient in Logic, Pro-tools, and Live. Her notable skills include critically trained ears, sight-singing and reading from sheet music, and music theory.
